Exacto has carried out a large number of traffic studies for new road infrastructures in Portugal and abroad (Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Ukraine, Mozambique, China and Libya).

Exacto has carried out several audits and traffic assessments in public-private partnerships, both in Portugal and abroad, as a result of our vast experience.
We are currently advisers to the EIB - European Investment Bank and IMT - Institute for Mobility and Transport.

Exacto has been conducting several traffic monitoring in road concessions, supported by an automatic counting plan that covers both roads to be granted and the alternative road network. We have also been responsible for traffic censuses in regional road networks (Madeira and Porto Santo).

Exacto was responsible for accessibility studies to various commercial, industrial and logistic areas, transport interfaces (railway stations, ports, airports, river terminals, etc.), urbanizations and touristic developments.

Exacto has carried out urban planning studies of circulation and parking in several cities, leading to in-depth knowledge regarding mobility in urban centers. We focus on the creation of an urban environment that enhances pedestrian experience by promoting the use of proximity transport modes (cycling and pedestrian transport).

Economic viability studies of new transport infrastructures are based on a cost-benefit analysis throughout their life cycle. We have carried out this type of studies for highways, roads and bridges worldwide.

AREAS OF EXPERTIZE

Exacto has carried out demand studies on new high-speed railway axes, conventional railway lines and light rail lines, as well as studies on designing railway stations and redesigning urban bus networks (studies carried out in Portugal and Brazil).

Exacto is one of three Portuguese SMEs to receive support from the European Commission (SME Instrument Horizon 2020, Phase 1) for the development of the Day-by-Day project, an innovative software for the production of traffic forecasts in road concessions.

We were also the Portuguese partner of Ele.C.Tra, a project to promote electric mobility among tourists.
